Additional Information

  • The Smrekovica Mountain Lodge is located at an altitude of 1,339 meters above sea level and is easily accessible by car. Private parking is available directly at the lodge.
  • We recommend bringing appropriate clothing for mountain conditions. Weather in the mountains can change quickly — cold temperatures and sudden local storms are not uncommon. Your clothing should match the season and forecast, but we also suggest packing gloves, a hat, functional layers, and a warm jacket, especially if you plan to spend extended time observing wildlife outdoors.
  • Sturdy hiking boots and a waterproof layer — such as a rain poncho or a reliable outdoor jacket — are essential.
