The natural science educational package for 1.5 days includes
- Half board accommodation starting with dinner and ending with breakfast
- After a delicious dinner at a popular science lecture with an experienced natural tourism lecturer who grew up here and then carried out forestry and ecological research for many years, you will reveal the secrets of life in our mountains
– What fascinating stories do the forests of Velké Fatra hide?
– How do we distinguish an ordinary forest from a primaeval forest?
– Myths and experiences from getting to know beasts such as bears, wolves, and others
– You will learn what different operettas we can see here, what they need to live, and maybe you will even learn to recognize some of them by their singing
– Why so much “uproar” around the Black Grouse, what does it mean for us people?
– Is the woodpecker a pest or a key ecosystem species in the forest?
– What is the importance of forests in times of rapid climate change?
– Time for your questions and discussion - The next day you continue with this lecturer directly into the arms of the Velkofatran forest giants during the discovery trip, where you will discuss what will not be done in the evening. And maybe it will show you how the deaf man courtes and flows in the spring :).
- You can choose from the following routes:
– a shorter route of 3-4 hours from the Smrekovica forest of Velké Fatra towards Mala Smrkovica
– or a longer route of 6-8 hours from Smrekovice towards Rakytov - dates: July 11-12, August 7-8, August 24-25
- binding ordering and payment later 2 weeks before the event. We implement it if at least 8 participants sign up. If the number of applicants is 2 weeks before the event less than 8, we will inform everyone and arrange a shift to another date or another solution.

- minimum age of participants: 13 years
- we can rent hiking poles – the fee for the poles is 4 Euros.
- Excursion clothing: In the mountains, the weather can surprise you at any time – whether it’s cold or local storms are common. We recommend that you dress appropriately for the time of year and the weather and at the same time pack e.g. also, gloves, a cap, functional clothing and a warmer jacket will come in case of longer animal observation. High hiking boots and a raincoat or waterproof jacket are a must.

At the same time, by paying the amount for the stay, the participants confirm that they will participate in the excursion at their own risk and are aware of their physical condition for the given route, the lecturer bears no responsibility for the participants. We recommend that you take out mountain insurance.
